Short Bio
I was born in Grenoble, France, in 1980. I have received the Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), school of Electrical and Computer Engineering, in June 2003. I first joined the Knowledge and Database Systems laboratory in the final year of my undergraduate studies (January 2003) while working on my Diploma Thesis, supervised by Professor Timos Sellis. My Diploma Thesis, entitled "Design, Implementation and Incorporation of a Subsystem for Managing Dimensions of OLAP Systems in the ERATOSTHENES System", was in theory and applications of OLAP and Data Warehouse Systems.
I am currently a PhD candidate in the Knowledge and Database Systems Laboratory, school of ECE, NTUA, supervised by Professor Timos Sellis, working in the areas of data management and information systems. My current research interests include context aware systems and data management, evolution of information systems, data caching and replacement for web content, data warehouses and data indexing.
